VOVU Metaalbewerking, ISO 9001:2000 certified, delivers parts to the automotive sector, crane construction, machine tools, and oil and gas industry. Most of our work is lathe work, but milling is steadily gaining in importance. The process begins in the office where everything is prepared to run without hitches, through automated processes, then moving to the next phase, into the machine tool factory. That is where the raw materials (aluminum, steel, synthetics, stainless steel) are stored, organized and color-coded. The raw materials are primarily bought on order, but an off-the-shelf supply is also in stock, because VOVU is strongly oriented, ninety percent, to repeat orders.
